Arise it’s a new day. Therefore you must prepare. Do not just walk into your day uncovered to attract all that wills itself to partake in your thoughts.
Cleansing is our morning ritual; shower, wash face, brush teeth etc… How about the inner cleansing of mind to strengthen the spirit man. If we do not then we carry all of that residue of all the yesterday’s we have accumulated.
When we go before the Lord, have we taken the time to sanctify ourselves? Has the Lord had to tolerate your unclean thoughts? Honor the Lord and remember that you are going up to meet Him in the mountain. You can only go so far if you are not sanctified.
“Ephesians 5:15 (ESV) — 15 Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise”
Now I know the question is coming. “How do you sanctify yourself?” This is where I must challenge you to inquire of God and ask that question. Once you receive your answer please share in the comments below.
“And it happened, as the blast of the ram’s horn grew louder and louder, Moses spoke and God answered him with [a voice of] thunder. The Lord came down on Mount Sinai, to the top of the mountain; and the Lord called Moses to the top of the mountain, and he went up. Then the Lord spoke to Moses, “Go down, warn the people, so that they do not break through [the barriers around the mountain] to the Lord to see [Me], and many of them perish [as a result]. Also have the priests who approach the Lord consecrate (sanctify, set apart) themselves [for My sacred purpose], or else the Lord will break forth [in judgment] against them [and destroy them].””

COMMENTS:
Hawa Johnson - Repentance is one of the intentions I take to consider myself, to take the time to cleanse my mind and my heart, and to sanctify myself to the Lord. This intention humbles me and crucifies my flesh, along with the works that are contrary to the fruit Holy Spirit produces! Intentionally fasting (abstaining) from conversations, thoughts, environments that are low vibrational is a new practice Holy Spirit has unfolded to sanctify myself!
Melinda Haas - My sanctification comes through surrendering feelings, thoughts, and judgements to God. Depending on how deep the root is, the longer I need to sit before God with it. I repent and ask him to reveal any lingering negativity. He shows me then I continually put it before him. This can take days sometimes.
Kaleena Randall - My sanctification is motivativated from 2 Timothy 2:19-21. I am striving DAILY to refuse to engage in ignoble and unclean work, conversations, thoughts, entertainment or ideals. I strive to STUDY daily, various books and spaces of knowledge. I aim to meditate and listen to and for God daily. I am also feeling called to observe silence a bit more, sharpening my focus. But by theses acts, I believe they keep me from repetitive sin and low vibrational engagement. Self Awareness, praise and worship, movement and breath and body work have been becoming more needed lately.
