You have heard that it is great to speak in other tongues but to interpret is better, why? When I think on these things and have done this I find that my relationship with Most High became more intimate, more relational.
As we know that language is a way of telling the meaning of something. Because of the fall of the Tower of Babel we are in need of an interpreter. This means that we as mankind had a closer relationship with the Most High, that we must work to re-establish.
To understand this heavenly language is to understand the spiritual realm as well. To familiarize yourself with the culture of the secret place of the Most High. To practice "interpretation" from a supernatural perspective is a blessing. If you allow Holy Spirit the freedom to consistently change your language and attune your ear, you will understand mysteries.
Seek Most High in interpretation of your own tongues first. This requires a willingness to hear without interruption. As well as the ability to not finish sentences with your own desires. You must be open, knowing nothing, submissive to the will of Most High.
Let's pray ...
Creator of Heaven and Earth,
We come to you as students of the Spirit. We position ourselves as unlearned vessels awaiting instruction. We do not yet understand your thoughts or ways but honor them.
We have read that your will is to provide all flesh with the ability to understand this heavenly language we were given. You are not the author of confusion and have therefore opened the heavens to interpretation on Earth.
We are your open vessels to speak through. We are willing to speak your heart, with no alteration. We will not move beyond Holy Spirit for gain. Pour upon us this mysterious power to help us know you more. To increase our understanding of what you desire. We will walk circumspectly in this gift.
We ask that our own tongues be interpreted to ourself first. Then upon your move grant us the ability to hear for others in the appropriate time.
We thank you Most High for the opportunity to know you in this. We wait to hear from you.
