The definition of “Self-will” is part of our human nature and always strives to make self the center of its own universe. In this selfish manner, our self-will desires to pull God from His throne and deny others justice and mercy to advance its own ambition.
Addicts are described as people that can not control self-will. They actually lose all control and spiritually take their hands off the wheel. Not heeding any spiritual or natural law that affects all else. I am not sure that they are alone in this definition.
When we truly self analyze we can find different things about ourselves that is out of control. Fasting is a perfect way to see this live and in technicolor 😉.
Take a moment to review your self, this is a great time to deal with areas of weakness. Allow Holy Spirit to reveal and you sacrifice that issue unto God. Strength yourself in His forgiveness and restoration 🙏🏾❤️.
Allow His Will to become your will.
Romans 7:22-25 KJV
“For I delight in the law of God after the inward man: but I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.”
